How to disable or hide Cortana or Search Box?

At first it’s quite annoying that the search bar on your taskbar is consuming too much space.. If you want to disable or hide Cortana. You can!

1. Right- click the taskbar

2. Select Cortana.

3. Choose from the sub-menus (Hidden, Show Cortana Icon and Show Search Box)

I choose Show Cortana Icon, as you can see I encircled it with a red circle at the bottom left of the screenshot. So that it will not consume some space on my taskbar. 🙂
