Sun is back! #GumagadaAngArawMo

Good news everyone! With Sun’s newest and widest LTE network. #GumagadaAngArawMo for sure!

Meet the newest Sun endorsers – Vic Sotto, Maja Salvador, Matteo Guidicelli.

More Filipinos can now go online 24/7 as Sun has finally upgraded its network to LTE or Long Term Evolution, the international standard for high-speed mobile communication, paving the way for a much better mobile experience for subscribers. With its newest and widest LTE network, Sun now makes it possible for subscribers all over the country to enjoy online activities at blazing speeds – from surfing online, streaming videos and music, playing games, and downloading files on-the-go.

I have my Sun Cellular or Sun sim card since I was in my college years. So sayang naman if papalitan ko into a new one. Great memories I have here. 🙂

So Erwin and I have decided to grab this opportunity to go to the nearest Sun Shop

GenSan branch – 3rd-floor Cyberzone at SM City GenSan in front of Acer & Ground floor, Robinsons, in front of National Bookstore

We asked the customer service rep there if what are the requirements on swapping, or replacing the old or 3g SIM to LTE-ready sim. He told us that – at least two valid ID’s would do (para sure!), your physical SIM card and IT IS ALL FREE OF CHARGE and after doing the necessary actions (signatures, etc., etc.)

Sun LTE ready SIM

Tadah! Here’s the LTE-ready SIM card. The good thing here is that you can still have your existing Sun number. The customer service rep also stated that Sun would also facilitate the LTE upgrade of its postpaid subscribers within October 2017. *finger crossed

To recap:
The sun LTE-ready SIM is now available at P35 for new subscribers, while existing Sun subscribers can get it for FREE by swapping their old 3G SIM to an LTE-ready SIM at any Sun Shop nationwide. It can be cut to regular, micro, and nano SIM sizes.
